Jacob Bronowski’s book, Science and Human Values is comprised of three essays, namely: (1) The Creative Mind, (2) The Habit of Truth and (3) The Sense of Human Dignity. These three essays were first given as lectures at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on February 26, March 5 and March 19 1953 when Bronowski was a Carnegie Professor at the institution.
