The four Agents of Socialization are the family, school, peers, and workplace. Family is a huge and very influential agent of Socialization, Families today are so vastly diverse and the environment a child grows up in has a lasting affect on them.
CH. 4 Socialization is a lifelong interactive process in which an individual acquires self identity just like the body, mind, and life. Social agents are considered to provide important information necessary for a child to succeed in order to become a member of society. Examples of these agents are family, school, associates, media and so on.
